APPLICATIONS ARE BEING ACCEPTED FOR THE ANNUAL CITY PRIDE LANDSCAPE CONTEST
Is your neighbor's lawn beautiful? Creative? Eye-catching? Nominate your neighbor for the 4th Annual City Pride Landscape Contest, sponsored by Jeffersonville City Pride! The nominated landscape must be within the city of Jeffersonville. Entries must be submitted by August 1st. Landscapes will be judged by overall aesthetic appeal, neatness, and appropriateness of the landscaping to the architectural style of the house.
Recent landscaping improvements and original appearance may be taken into consideration. Consideration will be made of the impact of the landscaping on the surrounding neighborhood. Uniqueness in the use of plants, overall design, artwork, and other decoration will be considered for aesthetics and appropriateness.
Approval of the homeowner must be obtained. The homeowner will be notified of the judging day but they do not need to be home for the judging. Judges will only need to be in their yard for a short time.
