Over the last 7 months, the City of Jeffersonville has been developing a Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan to connect the community to important activity centers (schools, parks, business, etc.) by non-motorized transportation. Development of the plan has included numerous public meetings to gather input and is now complete. The final plan was presented to the public today at 6 pm in the City Council Chambers. Highlights of the plan include recommendations on public programs, policies, bicycle boulevards, bike lanes, shared use paths, streetscapes, sidewalks, signage, priority lists,
and cost estimates.
