There’s a new art project in Downtown that’s so big it’s monumental! Jeffersonville’s rich history is put on display with the Monumental Memories project. Ten murals made from historical photos are displayed on 10 buildings on Spring Street. The photos were enlarged to as big as 10’x12′ and installed as part of a resurgence of public art in the city. The project is made possible by Jeffersonville Main Street, Jeffersonville Urban Enterprise Association, the Jeffersonville Public Arts Commission, Indiana Main Street, and the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs.
