Things are looking up for the J.B. Ogle Animal Shelter as they make advances towards raising awareness for their cause. With the gracious help of S.K. Signs, the animal shelter now has a painted van that is sure to get people’s attention when they see it around the community. Also, the animal shelter now has a beautiful sign on the corner of Beech and Spring Street for people to see when they drive by.
Charlie Heavrin, animal shelter director, said, “There are some people in the community who still don’t know we exist and the van and sign will help spread the word about the shelter. We’ve got to reach people in the community and let them know we are here and they can go to the Facebook Page and post pictures.”
As a community, let us help J.B. Ogle Animal Shelter by raising awareness and maybe even adopting an animal as well! As we look forward to spring, what better way to escape the winter blues than by adopting a pet who will make your heart melt! Located on Willinger Lane in Jeffersonville, J.B. Ogle Animal Shelter is the temporary home to many cats and dogs who need a permanent home like yours.
J.B. Ogle Animal Shelter offers fair prices as well as low-cost spay and neuter assistance.
