Jeremy Jarvis’ mural features a 10-foot by 20-foot outdoor mural meticulously painted, which celebrates the legacy and lifetime of one of Jeffersonville’s most cherished gathering places – Nachand Fieldhouse. The piece continues the narrative along our expansive flood wall that tells the story of our community through beautifully painted murals. Jarvis’ mural has a composition that is teeming with movement and energy through the dynamic diagonal lines and active figures!
Come out to the mural site Thursday, April 6th at 5:30 p.m. and be a part of history as we dedicate the mural to Jeffersonville – and cut the ribbon together! Those that arrive early will get a small art button of the new mural as a memento of the finished piece. This mural was made possible with support from the City of Jeffersonville and the Public Art Commission. This event is free and open to the public.
