Notice is hereby given that the City of Jeffersonville, Indiana (the “City”), by and through its Board of Public Works and Safety (the “Board”), will open bids at 9:30 a.m. on October 19, 2016, for the following:
Purchase of one Refuse, Scrap Refuse/On Highway Roll-Off Truck or tractor to haul refuse, recycled material, limbs, sludge, etc. including a roll-on/roll-off container movement, to and from compost center and landfill.
Bids must be submitted on the form prescribed by the Indiana State Board of Accounts, together with a properly executed non-collusion affidavit.
Minimum specifications for the trucks are available in the office of the Street Department, 2003 Renfro Way, Suite 100, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130, Monday through Friday from 6:30 am through 3:00 p.m. or at www.cityofjeff.net.
Bidders must file with their bid a certified check or appropriate bid bond, payable to the City for Five Percent (5%) of the bid amount.
A bid submitted by a trust must identify each beneficiary of the trust and the settlor empowered to revoke or modify the trust.
The Board specifically reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
Bids will be evaluated on the basis of cost and quality of the equipment.

All bids must be filed with the Law Department, City of Jeffersonville, no later than October 19, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. at Jeffersonville City Hall, 500 Quartermaster Court, Suite 250, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130. The bids will be opened 9:30 am on October 19, 2016, in the Mayor’s Conference Room, Suite 251, City Hall, Jeffersonville, Indiana.
