The Jeffersonville Wastewater Department will be smoke testing in the Georgia Crossing Subdivision starting Monday, August 26 – Thursday, August 29.
Those residents that will be impacted have received a door hanger with information about the process.
Smoke testing is one of the best, most cost-effective ways to locate defects in the city’s main sewer line and the service lateral that connects to a resident’s property.
During the testing, you may notice smoke coming from vent stacks on buildings or holes in the ground. Check out these FAQs for more information.
