Notice is hereby given that on the 5th day of July, 2021 the Common Council for the City of Jeffersonville, Indiana adopted Ordinance No. 2021-OR-36, “An Ordinance Amending the Jeffersonville Zoning Ordinance (2000-OR-61) to Approve a New Unified Development Ordinance to Replace the City of Jeffersonville Zoning Ordinance (2000-OR-61) and All Subsequent Amendments and its Associated Map, and All Amendments Thereto, the Subdivision Control Ordinance, (1996-OR-28) the Mobile Vendor Ordinances, (2014-OR-26) and (2020-OR-57) The Landscape Fee-In-Lieu Ordinance (2016-OR-67) and the Official Fee Schedule Ordinance (2016-OR-88) as Recommended in the Staff Report (A Copy of which is Attached as Exhibit “A”)”. This Ordinance is applicable city-wide. This Ordinance approves a new Unified Development Code to replace and update the existing zoning and subdivision control ordinances including fines, penalties and fees. This Ordinance also repeals certain relevant ordinances pertaining to development in the City of Jeffersonville merging those provisions into a single document.
