It’s that time of year again! Mayor Mike Moore has launched the return of the popular dumpster drop-off initiative. Every Thursday, eight dumpsters will be placed in different neighborhoods around Jeffersonville for all your spring cleaning needs. Our Street Department will pick up the dumpsters on Monday morning.

Is this just for one week, or several weeks? Our dumpster is already almost full after just half a day, and we haven’t had a chance to put anything in it!

I took some items to the Darian lane dumpster but there was no way to get the items inside. I’m 5′ 2″ and you have to be 10ft tall to reach over the top or you need Hercules to throw the items over the edge. Are there any locations that have the door open for easier access?

Usually one is placed on Park Place in front of Park Memorial Church…in the curve. Will there be one there this year? We really need one! If so can you tell me when? Thank you so much!
