I own a business in Jeffersonville – on Court avenue. Our Building is accessed by an alley off of Court Ave. Because of the angled parking on Court Ave, we are constantly having people park in front of our alley, restricting access to our building. Before COVID, we would call the police department, and an officer would come and fix the situation. In recent months, when we call, an officer would come and chastise us for calling, when the alley was not completely blocked. The last time we called, the officer was very nice and fixed the situation. I called today, but so far, no one has come to remedy the situation. We did see a patrol car drive by, but it didn’t stop. What can I do to keep this from happening???
Also, there are no crosswalks on Court Avenue, except at the court house. We need some crosswalks, especially at the cross streets. We cannot get to the post office easily.
