After your application has been submitted, you will receive an e-mail confirming receipt. Qualified applicants who apply for a POSTED OPENING will have his/her application directly forwarded to the appropriate hiring department for review.

The City of Jeffersonville accepts applications for Firefighters and Police Officers on a rotating basis alternating every two years. Positions are filled from a certified list until such time. A separate application is required for these positions and will be posted on the City’s website when the applicant process is opened. Applications are not accepted for firefighter or police officer positions outside of the posting period and are not kept on file.

Applications for City positions should be made solely through the City of Jeffersonville’s website and no other external sites. A computer is available outside of the Human Resource Office for applicants who do not have access to a computer.
