Amended 2021 public meeting notice

AMENDED CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE’S 2021 PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE

The following represents the 2021 regular meeting schedule of the City of Jeffersonville boards and commissions as of January 1, 2021. All schedules listed below are subject to change. Please note that it is up to the staff and/or legal counsel of individual boards or commissions to notify the media and public of changes in meeting dates or of special meetings.

Please Note: Until further notice, in compliance with the governor’s executive order allowing for virtual public meetings due to the declared public health emergency all public meetings listed below will be held via Zoom and streamed to the City Facebook Page.

NOTE: Unless otherwise stated, all meetings are scheduled to take place in City Hall, located at 500 Quartermaster Court, Jeffersonville, Indiana

Board of Public Works and Safety: 9:30 am each Wednesday in the Mayor’s Conference Room

Board of Zoning Appeals: 7:00 pm or following the conclusion of the Planning Commission, whichever is later, on the last Tuesday of each month in Room 101, City Council Chambers. There will not be a meeting in the last week of December

Building Authority: 9:00 am on the second Tuesday of each month in the Building Commission Second Floor Conference Room

City Council: 7:00 pm on the first and third Monday of each month in Room 101, City Council Chambers

Council Finance Committee: 10:00 am on the second Thursday of each month in Room 101, City Council Chambers

City Pride: 9:30 am on the first and third Tuesday of each month in the Mayor’s Conference Room

Clarksville-Jeffersonville Flood Control: 10:30 am on the last Friday of each month in the Mayor’s Conference Room. The meeting for the month of May will be held on Friday, May 21, 2021 at 10:30 am. The meeting for the month of November will be held on Friday, November 19, 2021 at 10:30 am. The meeting for the month of December will be held on Friday, December 17, 2021 at 10:30 am

Drainage Board: 5:30 pm on the first and third Tuesday of each month in Room 101, City Council Chambers

City Events Planning Board: 10:00 am on the first Tuesday of each month in the Building Commission Second Floor Conference Room

Fire Merit Commission:  6:00 pm on the first Thursday of each month in Room 101, City Council Chambers

Public Arts: 5:30 pm on the second Monday of each month in the Mayor’s Conference Room. The meeting in the month of October will be held on Monday, October 19, 2021

Historic Preservation Commission: 6:00 pm on the second Monday of each month in the Building Commission Second Floor Conference Room. There is no meeting scheduled for December; however, the commission will call a special meeting, if necessary

Parks Authority: 5:30 pm on the fourth Monday of each month in the Mayor’s Conference Room. The Meeting for the month of December will be held on Monday, December 20, 2021 at 5:00 pm

Parks Facilities Advisory Board: 5:00 pm on the third Thursday of each month at the Parks Facilities Maintenance Building at 511 Brighton Avenue

Economic Development: Meets only when meeting called, generally two to three times per year. All 2021 meetings will be posted in advance per Indiana’s Public Access Laws

Plan Commission: 6:00 pm on the last Tuesday of each month in Room 101, City Council Chambers. The Plan Commission will also hold a Special Meeting in January in addition to their regular monthly meeting. The Special Meeting in January will be held on January 12, 2021 at 6:00 pm. There will not be a meeting in the last week of December

Police Merit Commission: 6:00 pm on the second Tuesday of each month in Room 101, City Council Chambers

Redevelopment Authority:  Meets only when meeting called, generally two to three times per year. All 2021 meetings will be posted in advance per Indiana’s Public Access Laws

Redevelopment Commission: 5:00 pm on the last Wednesday of each month in the Mayor’s Conference Room

Revolving Loan Committee/Restaurant Forgivable Loan Committee: Meets only when meeting called, generally two to three times per year. All 2021 meetings will be posted in advance per Indiana’s Public Access Laws

Sanitary Sewer Board: 3:00 pm on the first and third Thursday of each month in the Mayor’s Conference Room

Urban Enterprise Association: 5:00 pm on the second Wednesday of each month in the Mayor’s Conference Room

ABC Board: 2:00 pm on the first Thursday of each month at the County Courthouse
